Rytokoski: “Secapp is a game-changing tool for crisis management”

Mike Rytokoski, the President of Aprinnova beauty care ingredients business at Amyris Inc. (USA), has joined Secapp’s Board of Directors. Rytokoski brings over 30 years of international experience leading and growing businesses in Europe, Asia, North America, and Latin America.

“I am excited to join the Secapp Board of Directors as I see the value that the Secapp critical communication technology brings to organizations. Secure and fast communication helps minimize financial impact, protect associates and in many cases save lives in crisis situations.”, Rytokoski says.

“I enjoy the opportunity to leverage my leadership experiences from working in senior positions with large multinationals to help a fast-growing star company from my home country of Finland. This is a sector that builds on Finland’s proven expertise in mobile technology and telecommunication.”

“I have led large business operations on-the-ground in challenging environments like Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, Eastern Europe and China dealing with crisis ranging from revolution attempts to terrorist attacks, general strikes and natural disasters. Three decades ago, there were no sophisticated communication tools like Secapp, which would have made the task of managing through those crises a lot easier. In the early years of my career in Latin America we didn’t even have cell phones and had to rely on motorcycle messengers to get critical information to our associates in different locations.”

“Our mission at Secapp is to help companies and organizations shorten response times, minimize financial damage and harm to associates and save lives. This inspires me and it inspires the whole Secapp team knowing that we are making a positive contribution in our communities.”

The global incident and emergency management market is expected to grow even 7% per year

According to MarketsandMarkets forecast, the global incident and emergency management market size is expected to grow from USD 124.0 billion in 2021 to USD 171.8 billion by 2026, at a CAGR of 6.7% from 2020 to 2026.

The increasing criminal activities and terrorist attacks, and the occurrence of unpredictable natural disasters are factors driving the growth. In addition, high demand for critical communication solutions from diverse industries (e.g., medical, transportation, and public safety) and increasing need to modernize old devices are also accelerating the growth.

As the market grows, the demand for state-of-the-art critical communication and safety solutions such as Secapp is expected to increase rapidly.
