A problem detected in the connection between the browser and the Secapp backend system will be reported in the future with a warning appearing at the top of the browser view. This improves the use of views for situational awareness monitoring, where the user does not actively interact with the browser, but the view is mainly observed passively.

In the event of a connection error, the notification is displayed in a red banner. Attempts to establish the connection are repeatedly made in the background. When the connection is restored, a notification (green banner) of it is received.

The new notification has been implemented in the Inbox, Map, and chat views, where information is regularly updated when messages or, for example, acknowledgments arrive. Static views (e.g. Info page) do not report errors in a new way; instead, connection errors are detected, for instance, through the browser’s own error messages.
